The TYMES 1966

The Tymes

Originally formed in early 1964 by brothers, Brooks & Gordon Titcomb of Roxbury and soon joined by their friend and guitarist, Mark Sibley. In 1965, the band was joined by their friend Bobby Seid, also of Roxbury. Besides playing a slurry of private venues in the southern Litchfield County Area, the lads went on to play various public and school dances and “Battle of the Bands”. In early 1966, The Tymes were joined by another Seid brother, David, on various percussion and vocals.

While The Tymes officially disbanded in late 1967, Brooks and Gordon both went on to play with a number of other musicians during the late 60’s. To date, Gordon has continued to remain in the music industry as a full time musician and writer.
